Oh what a night!

How do i go about describing the Raffles Ball night? hmmm... well, well... firstly i want to say good work colin! *slaps colin's back* It was fairly good... the highlights of the evening were Hossan Leong's crappy jokes... and Margeaux!

Let me describe wat happened during the day... after lunch, me and the gals headed down to Garden City to do some last minute "make-up and accessories shopping". I bought a brown in color eye-liner and some moisturetint thingy, in the hopes of attaining that dewy look you see on models in magazines... -_-

apart frm makeup, i also bought this glittery hair accessory thingy and a magnetic bracelet cum necklace which is actually quite cool and unique....(but i saw another girl wearing the same thing...-_-... so much for unique)

the guys were at Mr Mah Bow Tan's(whoever he is) dialog session... and were supposed to come pick us up after they were done... but Mr Mah had to talk and talk and talk... therefore resulting in them being late... and we had to take a bus home... which resulted in us rushing like crazy and running back in the rain...*sigh*

i was supposed to get my hair done at Top Image... but on second thoughts i decided not to waste any more $$$ and asked rina to help me do my hair instead.. (thx gal for my wonderful hair that nite! i loved it!)

we arrived at the pre cocktail "fashionably late" and were milling around, taking photos before dinner started. this was the first time i was having a western 3 course meal. 1st up on the menu was pumpkin soup... which was yucky... 2nd up was some chicken thingy with gravy and 3rd was dessert... which was a slice of chocolate mousse cake with 2 teeny slices of strawberries... which i swapped with Felix cos his strawberries were bigger... haha

after dinner, we proceeded to Margeaux, which was this club just downstairs of the Hilton ( oh did i mention the ball was held at Hilton Hotel?).. it played RnB (YAY!) and i discovered a new drink! called Illusion, it tasted like fruit juice, served in a shaker bottle and poured into shot glasses, and was cyan/turquoise in color... but had considerably enuff alcohol to get me high for the nite! Bran was da bomb la that nite... that was he 1st time i saw him drunk and blabbering nonsense... (wat nonsense i shall not say!) and to those of you who know wat nonsense... pls shut up and do not mention it again....!

took pictures with hossan leong, but brandon went around taking pictures with darren, cynthia and this blonde bimbo looking girl whom we didnt even know.... guess it must have been due to the effect of the alcohol...

oh and not forgetting many thanks to Sherlyn and rina who were our designated drivers that nite...:)

p/s: i forgot to mention tat i saw 2 other girls wearing the exact same dress as me! 1 in cyan and the other in black too.... and also i saw many girls wearing shoes that i saw while shoppin for my own pair of shoes... which just goes to show how limited shopping is in perth....

My MUCH HATED spending habits.

why do i haf to get shit from my own brother about how i spend my money? ok...correct that, its not "my" money, but money given to me from my parents. but that money includes my allowance as well? am i not allowed to haf the freedom to decide how i wish to spend my allowance?

and all this shit started just becos i wrote on my blog that i bought a $126.50 dress for Raffles Ball. So wat now? i don't even have the freedom to write this fact down on my blog becos my own bro has to come and lecture me for spending $126.50 on that dress...

in the first place, i asked my dad if it was ok to giv me some xtra bucks for this Raffles Ball event. he said it was. so i really don see wat's the big fuss about me buying that dress. It is a ONE TIME EVENT. and will not happen again. secondly, i am already feeling guilty for spending so much, therefore i am determined to start work as soon as possible. But no, this is not enuff for you nicky, now you are picking on me by saying why i don't start work in the first place. why didn't i start work at the same time as brandon? why only now? when i realise that i have no money left (as he puts it).

i do have money left!!!! i'm not so idiotic as to spend it all den beg for more money from my parents again or get a job only then.

why are u so uptight about me spending money anyway? i spoke to mummy and alapu just a few days ago, and yeah they did remind me not to spend so much especially mummy, but as i've told u i am not using the money she gave me... so nothing to worry there... rite now i'm using the bit of xtra cash that alapu gave me specifically for this event, which is also some sorta like my allowance for the month... so wat's the deal? THE ONLY PERSON WHO HATES MY SPENDING HABITS IN THAT PASIR RIS HOUSE IS THAT WOMAN AND YOU KNOW WHY??? BECAUSE I AM NOT HER DAUGHTER! so i wouldn't go so far as to say that everybody hates my spending habits... i can tell u straight in the face... if anybody hates my spending habits? its her and her alone. why would alapu and mummy hate my spending habits? i am their daughter... there is a difference btw hating my spending habits and reminding me not to always spend so much money because i am not earning money yet. no parent will HATE their children's spending habits... unless they had no love for their children. sure they might get frustrated but defintely not hate...i think u used the wrong word there nicky.

if i have children, and if i have the capability to provide them with wat they desire, i will blardy well let them haf wat they desire. its only if i do not have the ability to do so.... why shouldn't people be allowed to have wat they desire if they have the means to do so.

and wat the hell is happening with people nowadays. watever happend to good ol' respect? i don see any respect frm younger bro to sister. i always get picked on for various things by you.... 1stly, your books, 2ndly, my spending habits, etc etc...

My LBD (little black dress)

hiya guys, we are officially going to the Raffles Ball... thanks to Mr Felix Su, who managed to psycho Bran into going... it's gonna be held at the Hilton Hotel, and blardy tickets cost $65!! and that's not all...i just bought a LBD for the ball which cost me $126.50..... *sigh* i'm not even earning money and already i'm spending it like crazy.... now all thats left for me to get is a pair of nice black strappy heels and a little black clutch or evening purse, and maybe some nice sparkly accessories... hee... so exciting!

Brandon's got himself a nice looking suit, complete with blazer, pants, babypink shirt and a black silky tie... ooooh... somebody's gonna be lookin delicious next thursday!! *yum* haha..

anyways my dearest womens! i just found out that they have a MNG in perth...! haha.... but the clothes are like last season's clothes... so i've seen them all back when i was in singapore.... boring..

anyway, I've made a discovery! I just realised that they rent anime dvds at the Winthrop Blockbuster... yippee!! but sad to say, they don't have much titles for me to choose from. but so far, Chobits are nice and Fruits Basket is nice too! they're funny and have the same effect on me as Naruto and Bleach... that kind of "keep on wanting to continue watching" kinda feeling... if u get wat i mean..?

sigh, but they have so few episodes.....why can't they be like Naruto?? and have 100+ episodes....?zzzz

anyway, woman! (mel) if u have the time... go watch them as well... but i'm not sure if u'll like it or not... i know brandon does... haha!

My new iPod Mini!

Woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise... my dearest darlin bran bought for me a iPod Mini of my own! hehehe... So happy! apparently he bought it for me right after he bought his own... and he ordered it from Apple online... and he specially did that cos i wanted the green color one... and they didn't have it at the Apple store... :)

Anyway, i didn't even notice that brandon came into my room and left the parcel for me on top of my laptop... he thought that when i wake up, the 1st thing that i would do would be to on my laptop. But i didn't... haha... the 1st thing i did was to go into bran's room to look for him... guess he couldn't wait any longer... so he led me back into my room and told me that i received a parcel.... imagine my surprise!!

Thank you my dearest sweetie.... i really didn't expect you to get it for me.... love u much! :)
