My Rock Climbing experience

Went rock climbing yesterday! It was my first time trying it out and overall it went quite well. I started off a little scared... and didnt really like it after i tried it the first time, but that was becos bran started me off on a difficult route.. -_-

The routes are numbered according to difficulty (e.g number 6 - beginner, and so on and so forth). Bran started me off on route 11... thats why i was strugglin like mad... but after that i climbed route 6 and realised that rock climbin is actually quite fun! hehe

The fun is in challenging yourself. Route 6 was kinda easy, as the rocks were big therefore making it easy for me to grip onto them... So i decided to push myself and tried route 10.. made it to the top of route 10 the very first time... *grinz* and decided to go on to route 11 which i couldn't complete the first time. Completed that as well, and went on to route 13. Route 13 was a fucking bastard!! Soooo damn difficult to climb sia! I couldn't make it to the top and was shouting and screaming at bran to let me down... (he kept encouraging me to push on but my poor hands and legs were trembling like mad so i decided to give it a rest)

After resting, i attempted route 13 again, this time with Felix belaying me.. Again i got stuck at the same spot, again i got discouraged and wanted to be let down but Mr Su. just wouldnt let me come down....-_- but it was all thanks to his and bran's and sherlyn's encouraging that i completed route 13! hehe... so happy!!

The next time i go rock climbing (if there is a next time), i wan to try routes 14, 15 and 16.. below are the pics of bran & i attempting the walls.. :)

Made it to the top!!

Halfway there..

Owner of a lonely heart

Hey guys, check out Max Graham's remix of original singer Yes : "Owner of a lonely heart".

The story goes like this.

2 young boys, played truant, made photocopies of leaflets for girls to come to audition in their bikinis, found a place for the audition and the rest is bikini babes dancing in front of the camera...

keep a lookout for bran's favourite part: the pizza guy who joins in the fun.

my favourite part is the 2 kids showing the gals how to do their thang..

Enjoy~

"Mini Tornado Hits Western Australia"

"A FEROCIOUS storm has ripped through the south-west of Western Australia, with severe winds and torrential rain closing roads, damaging buildings, felling trees, bringing down power lines and closing schools.

Although no injuries have been reported, hundreds of State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers have been called out to incidents across Perth and further south, with thousands of residents waking up to severe damage.

The town of Bunbury, 180km south of Perth, appears to have been the worst affected by the line of severe thunderstorms, which swept across the state's south-western coastline about 6am WST (0800 AEST) today.

Staff at the town's ABC radio station were lucky to escape with their lives after a 38m crane collapsed on their building at the height of the storm.

Bicton, 15km south of Perth, was also battered, with the suburb's primary school badly affected, losing six roofs from buildings and suffering damage which could take weeks to repair.

The main problems were fallen power lines, trees across roads and fallen into roofs, and collapsed ceilings.

Perth's main roads were also severely affected, with a crane left in danger of toppling onto a highway, as well as debris, blacked out traffic lights and flooded suburban thoroughfares banking up traffic.

Wind gusts peaked at 142km/h at Rottnest Island, just off the coast of Perth, and reached 100km/h in Perth suburbs."

Oh my! I couldn't believe my ears when i heard the news earlier. "Mini-tornado"? In WA? Apparently it occurred in nearby Applecross, Bunbury and some other places whose names I cannot remember, uprooting many trees and devastating many homes, causing shock to the many residents whose homes and shops have been destroyed. Just think! It could have happened in Perth itself, it could have swept across Murdoch, Kardinya(where i stay!), etc...

I wonder what would've happened if the mini tornado hit us...? We were so close man... Thank God.
