Oh what a night!
How do i go about describing the Raffles Ball night? hmmm... well, well... firstly i want to say good work colin! *slaps colin's back* It was fairly good... the highlights of the evening were Hossan Leong's crappy jokes... and Margeaux!
Let me describe wat happened during the day... after lunch, me and the gals headed down to Garden City to do some last minute "make-up and accessories shopping". I bought a brown in color eye-liner and some moisturetint thingy, in the hopes of attaining that dewy look you see on models in magazines... -_-
apart frm makeup, i also bought this glittery hair accessory thingy and a magnetic bracelet cum necklace which is actually quite cool and unique....(but i saw another girl wearing the same thing...-_-... so much for unique)
the guys were at Mr Mah Bow Tan's(whoever he is) dialog session... and were supposed to come pick us up after they were done... but Mr Mah had to talk and talk and talk... therefore resulting in them being late... and we had to take a bus home... which resulted in us rushing like crazy and running back in the rain...*sigh*
i was supposed to get my hair done at Top Image... but on second thoughts i decided not to waste any more $$$ and asked rina to help me do my hair instead.. (thx gal for my wonderful hair that nite! i loved it!)
we arrived at the pre cocktail "fashionably late" and were milling around, taking photos before dinner started. this was the first time i was having a western 3 course meal. 1st up on the menu was pumpkin soup... which was yucky... 2nd up was some chicken thingy with gravy and 3rd was dessert... which was a slice of chocolate mousse cake with 2 teeny slices of strawberries... which i swapped with Felix cos his strawberries were bigger... haha
after dinner, we proceeded to Margeaux, which was this club just downstairs of the Hilton ( oh did i mention the ball was held at Hilton Hotel?).. it played RnB (YAY!) and i discovered a new drink! called Illusion, it tasted like fruit juice, served in a shaker bottle and poured into shot glasses, and was cyan/turquoise in color... but had considerably enuff alcohol to get me high for the nite! Bran was da bomb la that nite... that was he 1st time i saw him drunk and blabbering nonsense... (wat nonsense i shall not say!) and to those of you who know wat nonsense... pls shut up and do not mention it again....!
took pictures with hossan leong, but brandon went around taking pictures with darren, cynthia and this blonde bimbo looking girl whom we didnt even know.... guess it must have been due to the effect of the alcohol...
oh and not forgetting many thanks to Sherlyn and rina who were our designated drivers that nite...:)
alrite, i shall go post the pictures now...
p/s: i forgot to mention tat i saw 2 other girls wearing the exact same dress as me! 1 in cyan and the other in black too.... and also i saw many girls wearing shoes that i saw while shoppin for my own pair of shoes... which just goes to show how limited shopping is in perth....
